The University of Houston-Victoria Lady Jags ended their season with a doubleheader against Mary Hardin Baylor. It ended with the Lady Jags winning both games. The scores were 5-1 and 2-0 in the sweep.
The softball team ends the regular season with a record of 30-16.

For 372 University of Houston-Victoria students the end is near - that is, graduation.
Not only will more than 300 students be walking across the stage to receive their diploma, but also this year's commencement speaker will be U.S. Rep. Ron Paul.
This graduation ceremony will not only be the end, but the beginning for students who plan on embarking on new journeys after graduation.

On Fiesta Day, two University of Houston-Victoria organizations showed a film to promote their organizations' missions.
The two organizations are the Rosebud Film Society and the Mexican American Student Organization. Rosebud's mission is to stimulate critical thinking and discussion through film and MASO's mission is to promote and preserve Mexican American culture.

Elections for the 2008-2009 Student Senate were held April 29-30, with the results in on May 1.
The president is Kristen Lindley, the vice president is Juan Diego Martinez, the secretary is Nicole M.
